World Bank Institute EU Leadership Seminar: Establishing a Communications Strategy for Turkey’s Accession to the EU

From 2004 when Turkey received notification of the EU’s intention to open negotiations until today, there has been a downward trend in public support for Turkey’s EU accession aspirations. World Bank Institute together with the World Bank organized this seminar which brought EU leaders to provide advice to Turkey's leadership on an effective communications strategy for Turkey. This seminar took the form of  a small closed door discussion among the Ministers, senior policy makers and EU leaders, which allowed for candid open discussion.
