Ankara Office Joins TUSIAD To Inform Business Circles In Turkey On How To Do Business With The World Bank

On October 22, 3 of the World Bank staff from Ankara office participated in a seminar that Turkish Businessmen and Industrialists Association (TUSIAD) organized in the Central Anatolian city of Corum, Turkey. TUSIAD, Association of Turkish Businessmen and Industrialists- is representing Turkey in the Private Sector Liaison Officers (PSLO) Network of the Bank since 2004 and have been organizing seminars for businessmen and industrialists all around Turkey on World Bank Groups work, activities and the way it does business. Within this framework, External Affairs, Procurement and Senior Infrastructure Officers from Ankara Office made presentations on the work the Bank is doing in Turkey to Corum based industrialists and businessmen. This was the 6th of similar seminars that have been presented. A large group of audience from business and academia circles as well as local government officials participated to the seminar.
